The Hamburg New Philharmonic was founded in 2011 by independent professional musicians from worldwide . Since then, our orchestra has emerged as a leader in the musical landscape of northern Germany. We see ourselves as a dynamic variable geometry orchestra, ranging from small ensembles for chamber orchestra to symphonic orchestra with choir .
From the 2002 /2003 season, great conductors were regularly invited as Roberto Seidel, Ernst Bartel, Mike Steurenthaler, Michael Bank and others.
Nevertheless, our preferred configuration remains the chamber orchestra, which since its creation, has seen its composition almost unchanged and whose members know perfectly each other. According to us, chamber orchestra must not be understood in the sense of small ensemble, but rather as an opportunity to provide a more intimate and superior quality perfomance.
Thanks to numerous concerts in France, Switzerland, Spain, Italy and South Korea, we made ??a wide circle of friends among the listeners. Our tours abroad and cultural exchanges have opened us new horizons. On tour, we may, depending on the program, perform without a conductor, like in the chamber orchestra tradition in the time of Vivaldi and Mozart.
The musical direction is always assured by our first violinist Tigran Mikaelyan .
To preserve our artistic freedom, we give up knowingly the public subsidies and the private sponsors. We fund ourselves exclusively by the tickets sell. This concept allows us to define our interpretation ourselves the way we feel and in function of the exchange we have with the public during the concert. Our goal is to entertain the audience and not to profess stiffly , according to a prescribed model.
TIGRAN Mikaelyan was born in 1969 in Eriwan .At the age of five he received his first violin lessons and at seven he goes to Tchaikovsky Music College . After obtaining the high school diploma in 1987, he studied at the Rimsky-Korsakovovag St.-Petersburg State Conservatory with the Professor A.Fischer . Still a student, he gives many concerts in solo or duo. He has also performed as a soloist in the Chamber Orchestra of St. Petersburg, and gave also concerts in Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Holland, Belgium and Germany. In 1995, he settled in Germany, where he became concertmaster of the Hamburg New Philharmonic. Meanwhile, he founded several ensembles, with whom he performs as a soloist in Germany, Spain, South Korea, Italy, Austria and Slovakia. His commitment as first violinist and his active participation in the development of the program and of the concert allowed the Hamburg New Philharmonic of becoming one of the orchestras the most famous in Hamburg.
EDWARD Tachalow began his musical education at the age of six at the Samarkand Music School of Samarkand (Uzbekistan). From 1992 to 1994 , he studied violin at the Berlin Music Academy and in Hamburg with teachers Kolja Blacher and Mark Lubotzki . In the years 1989-1991 he took part in many tours of the Moscow Tschaïkovsky Conservatory orchestra. Later, he became a member of the St. Petersburg ensemble of soloists, with which he perfomed, among others, at the music festival Schleswig- Flensburg Holsteinisches Landestheater . In 2007, he was music director at Groningen / Netherlands. Since 2010, Tachalow lives in Hamburg as a freelance violinist soloist.

Tyska kyrkan, eller Christinæ kyrka, ligger i centrala Göteborg. Kyrkan fick sitt namn efter Gustav II Adolfs dotter, drottning Kristina. Salskyrkan är byggd i gult tegel och huvudbyggnaden inklusive koravslutningen (men dock inte tornet) är täckt med numera gulmålat spritputs
